_ About the Trainer." Over the past ten years, I  have taught digital story telling to adults and students throughout the world,  from Iraq and India, to South Africa and Guatemala.  I see how powerful these stories can be and love showing people how to create them for both personal use as well as combining them with other social media tools.    I  consult with education groups here in the northwest and with education organizations and universities internationally to powerfully connect youth activists globally through exchanges of youth-produced videos and live video conferences.  These live, on-line exchanges seek to build cross-cultural understanding and promote positive social change.
